The Aztec Sun Stone is the best-known work of Aztec sculpture. The stone is a product of a highly sophisticated culture. On the back is a pyramid and a saying related to the Mayan doomsday prophecy. This prophecy was a driving force behind the 2012 phenomenon of eschatological beliefs.
